• Learned about finding problems in 200,000 line FORTRAN
programs with work specifications as clear as “There’s a bug in the program,
Art, but we don’t know what it is”.

• Softball gave me a chance to get to know my fellow
employees. Many of these people went
to work in other organizations and became the contact point into future
business opportunities. Business
opportunities can come from your peers, bosses, or clients.

• Started a help desk activity at a research center. I learned PC Hardware, Software, and
different mainframe environments.
|
|
• I developed a four year plan to earn a second degree in a
new field. Dr. Bart helped me decide
on a computer science masters instead of an MBA.
|
|
• Hendela System Consultants, Inc. was born.
|
|
•I am well into my PhD in Information Systems also at
NJIT. I passed my qualifying exam in
June 2003. It is difficult to balance
work school and family.
