The goal of the
design was to simulate the control of the messages between a satellite, a
terminal and a terminal controller.
The purpose of the terminal controller (TC) is to control the
satellite antennae, manage the communications network and monitor the
networks and terminals.

The need for the
simulator was precipitated by limited satellite time for testing of the
messaging and control. The project was
undertaken with several goals.

1)Make it work.

2)Explore ADA95
|
|
3)Use 3rd party components to make it as cheap as
possible.
|
|
|
|
Round 1 had no
Graphical User Interface. It was added
later.
